So who is this Guy?

In larger businesses -- finding opportunities to multiply
outputs of departments, workgroups, and executives.

My experience ranges from

  • Executive of an international corporation,
  • Coaching executives in some of them,
  • Owning and running several small start-up businesses myself,
  • Coaching other small businesses, sharing discoveries from both large and small business to nearly EXPLODE business results in a matter of weeks.
  • AND NOW, helping other coaches to EXPLODE their business results and get more clients than they have previously even been able to imagine.

I’ve worked with a few super coaches myself. And that was the turning point from an OK business to sudden success. And no matter how good it got after working with one, I found working with another, and another just opened horizons that I couldn’t even imagine before. And there IS a difference between working with "a coach" and a "super coach"--explosive results is probably the biggest difference. And not settling for so-so improvements. That's where the word EXPLOSIVE fits in.

The break through’s ranged from finding ways that reach tons more prospects, to closing more sales, and the biggest...breaking down the barriers that I had put up between my own ears. The experience was that I no longer wanted to be “just a coach” but I wanted to be someone who could literally explode business results WAY beyond average….several times in a short period of time. I want to do the same for everyone I touch.

And THAT is what I want to share with you. If I don’t provide a constant mind expanding, almost explosive impact on your mind, AND your business I’ve missed the boat.

When I Started to Market and Sell Myself I was TERRIBLE at it. I really had NO clue. Whether in my direct mail, or in my 30-second elevator speech I just said “I’m a coach.”  Most people responded with…..”Oh….yeh” It took me a long time to learn what makes marketing SUPER POWERFUL, and had to have the help of some of those super marketers I mentioned earlier before I started to make a difference. The last meeting I had where I gave my 30-second elevator speech resulted in almost everyone running over to ask “How in the world do you DO THAT?” Would you like to do that?

I’ve been where you are, struggling for clients and just couldn’t’ seem to make it work no matter what I did. Then after learning from the likes of Dan Kennedy (who claims 20% to 30% response to his marketing, and who charges $25,000 to do one sales letter), my own marketing results leaped from well under the national average of 0.5%-1.0% upward to 5% to 10%, and now have clients reporting anywhere from 20% to 70%, while also reporting closing as high as 90% on the first meeting. There are some very simple things that most businesses miss that can make that happen.

The upside of my long learning curve is that I've gone through every single obstacle, frustration and struggle my clients have experienced. I've been there and I have real empathy for what they're going through.

When I finally cracked through those barriers I realized that it wasn't really all that hard after all. I've always tried to stick to a few simple, key principles:

  • Having a clear, measurable target for all of the steps of marketing, sales, and delivery, and a strategy for linking them into consistently delivering the bottom line EACH AND EVERY WEEK.
  • Everything I do is to deliver RESULTS to the client, no matter what.
  • Showing VALUE of RESULTS to everyone you meet….the VALUE for them….measurable value. This isn’t about activity this is about the results and being able to measure the value of those results.
  • Sharing success with others. Sharing ALWAYS comes back with more than you gave away.

If you stick to those principles, not just write them down, but LIVE them, your result is nearly guaranteed.

I'm always working to stretch the limits of YOUR knowledge, YOUR SKILLs, and YOUR behaviors. For instance, I still read business, marketing and selling books voraciously and I work with other super coaches to constantly expand my own horizons. I constantly share and challenge with my clients what other super coaches have challenged me to do and those aha moments that seem to literally explode my own mind and business. I like to share my knowledge, and I make it a practice to give away whatever I can.

Perhaps just as important as my education in business and marketing is my study of personal growth and transformation for over 30 years. I'm not into woo-woo stuff. I'm committed to learning how to transcend my limiting beliefs about what is possible in all areas of my life. I discovered that the only thing that holds up my success is what I believe I cannot do. I've learned and I teach some of the most powerful techniques to get past these limitations.
