Len Gustafsson is the managing director of Viking Enterprises, a corporate advisory firm, with offices in Princeton, NJ and associates located throughout the U.S. Viking Enterprises was founded in 1986 to spearhead mergers & acquisitions of North American businesses for European based corporations.
Mr. Gustafsson is also managing two other businesses: He is the chairman of La Baeck Capital Company N.V. of the Netherlands, a holding company of intellectual property rights, and CEO of Innovent, Inc., a New Jersey corporation engaged in the development and licensing of proprietary technologies.
Prior to launching Viking Enterprises, Mr. Gustafsson was the CEO of ORS Automation, Inc., Princeton, NJ, and its subsidiary VULCAN Software, Mountain View, CA until they were sold to AMI and DAISY respectively. ORS became recognized as one of INC Magazine's "50 fastest growing public U.S. companies", under his leadership. Previously, he was the general manager of ASEA Inc's (now ABB) Industrial Robotics Division with responsibility for the establishment and build-up of a multi-plant operation in the USA. After a distinguished career in manufacturing, marketing, product management, and corporate development at SANDVIK in Sweden, Germany, and the United States, the Swedish Government appointed him the trade commissioner and vice consul to the United States with offices in Southfield, Michigan.

Mr. Gustafsson was the founding chairman of the Automated Vision Association of manufacturers and a director of the Robotics Industries Association during the emergence of this industry. He is presently an advisor of record to several corporations: Advanced Barrier Technologies Inc., Carlsbad, CA; AVEBE N.V., Amsterdam: HUTCHINSON S.A., Paris; LEXEL A/S, Copenhagen, and The Total Quality Institute, Inc., Mohnton, PA among others.
In his civic activities, Mr. Gustafsson is a member of The Nassau Club, and the Rotary Club, both of Princeton, NJ. He is a member of the Royal Round Table of the Swedish Council of America, the Swedish-American Museum in Philadelphia, PA, and Quality New Jersey, a State and private partnership for improving New Jersey as a place to live and work.
Len Gustafsson holds an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. He has a Bachelor-degree-equivalent in Business Administration from studies at Uppsala and Stockholm Universities, and an Industrial Engineering Degree from Stockholm's Technical Institute, all in Sweden. |
